1965 Chevy Dobertin Nova
Without a doubt, for many classic cars the best year to get such a vehicle is the last year of the first generation of that car. First generation classic cars are almost always the most desirable ones, and the last year of that generation is often the wisest choice. Not always, but most often the last year of any first gen car will have all of the kinks worked out, yet it will still gave all of the original look and feel of that first gen that everyone gets so excited about. Now, that is not to say that second, third, fourth, and even fifth generation classics are not just as great. A lot of people prefer them. But generally speaking, it is often true that the first generation, and the last few years or the last year of that first generation is the way to go.
This is most definitely the wisest choice by far with the Chevy Novas. The 1965 Chevy Nova was the last year that the first generations were produced, and this model is known for being something of the, “cream of the crop” of the Chevy Novas. Finding a 1965 Chevy Nova in good condition with stellar and phenomenal original parts and little to no damage is truly something to be proud of. The 1965 Chevy Nova is probably the most desired year of this car for the majority of those who own them or who are interested in them.
The 1965 Chevy Nova was truly the apex of an already magnificent car. The 1965 Chevy Nova was updated one last time with cleaner front-end styling courtesy of a fresh full-width grille with new integrated headlight bezels to boot. Talk about style, a good look, and crisp, clean angles all around. Parking lights moved down to the deep-section bumper, and sedans gained a new roofline that all together made this model look the smoothest and the sleekest of them all. Taillight and backup lights were restyled, as was the rear cove too, all to give it a full and pristine image. All in all, this car was desirable at that time, and it is possibly even more desirable now considering the fact that is was one of the cleanest, most well-built Chevy Novas of that era.
A very rare car and very FAST, may only be one left in the world. A true Calif. car which has been featured in over 22 magazines.
